Recovering from depression
I don’t know what it is. The thing about my depression is that it takes me ages to get to sleep, but once I do I cannot wake up at all! I was swimming this evening too – isn’t exercise supposed to make it easier to fall asleep?
Since the move back to my parents will hopefully have signified the beginning of my recovery (how many times have I thought that before?) I figure I might post about things that help (or not – bad Sam! I should thinking positively). I’m going to see what I can find out about things that smell nice and help you sleep. I think lavender is supposed to be good – will find out what else!
I’m doing quite a lot of exercise at the moment as well. In the beginning, when I started, it would perk me up for a couple of hours, but then my mood would drop again. It’s getting better now. I’m off work for the next few days and I’m going away doing lots of yoga, pilates and swimming – I reckon I’ll be the fittest person in the world this time next week!
I’ll see what happens!!
